Plaintree’s WAVEBRIDGE® technology is designed for SMB, Enterprise, Service Providers, Military and Power Users. It is the perfect alternative for installing copper or fiber cables, performance of fiber at a fraction of the cost. Plaintree’s WAVEBRIDGE products are designed to integrate seamlessly into your existing network.

Our fixed wireless point to point FSO (Free Space Optics) link has many advantages over microwave, radio frequency, CAT 5 copper cable and fiber optic cable. Its low cost optical based high speed wireless connection is easy to install, completely eye safe, highly reliable and requires no frequency licensing. It is also redeployed easily in a very short time frame.

Its inexpensive infrared technology uses LEDs (light emitting diode) which provides an eye safe, more durable solution than laser that can be deployed in building to building applications for simple interconnection.

Our wireless link is in essence a wireless network bridge. WAVEBRIDGE wireless links can be
installed indoors and outdoors, on roof tops or walls and are a cost effective unlicensed wireless alternative to licensed wireless technologies (radio frequency spectrum licensing).
